A workshop on Computational Aspects of Psychometric Methods with ShinyItemAnalysis will be held on NCME 2026 conference, Los Angeles, California, USA on April 8.
We presented a workshop on Modelling Responses in Multi-Item Measurement with R and ShinyItemAnalysis at EAM 2025 conference, University of La Laguna in San Cristobal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain.
Workshop on SIA modules was held at the IMPS 2025 conference, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA.
{ShinyItemAnalysis} was updated to 1.5.5! π
SIA Modules are now available for installation directly from the app's GUI (Modules tab), see our
manuscript.
New estimation methods are implemented based on our recent paper.
See the changelog for the full list of changes and bugfixes.
Our work was presented at the IMPS 2024, hosted by our
COMPS group,
Prague, Czech Republic.
More information is available at
IMPS 2024.
New preprint about SIA Modules was published on arXiv.
A brand new {SIAtools} R package was released! π
SIAtools is a comprehensive suite of functions for constructing and managing 'ShinyItemAnalysis'
modules,
with guides, templates, linters, and tests.
See the accompanying {pkgdown} page at
applstat.github.io/SIAtools.
{ShinyItemAnalysis} version 1.5.1 was released! π
The SIA modules available at our CRAN-like repository
(shinyitemanalysis.org/repo)
are now offered upon application startup when run locally with run_app().
See the changelog
for the full list of changes and bugfixes.
{SIAmodules} were updated to 0.1.1! π
The new release resolves bugs and provides sample R code for the CAT module.
See the changelog
for the full list of changes and bugfixes.
New book Computational Aspects of Psychometric Methods. With R published at CRC Press.
{ShinyItemAnalysis} version 1.5.0 was released! π
The app is now extendable via add-on modules, new datasets were added, and DIF analysis now offers
combinations (simple and iterative) of purification and p value adjustment.
See the full changelog here.
A collection of ShinyItemAnalysis modules were released in the
{SIAmodules} R package. π
They are no longer hosted at a standalone webpage, but dynamically recognized and added in
{ShinyItemAnalysis} version β₯ 1.5.0.
You can now create your own SIA module referring to the {SIAmodules} source code.
A companion tool to ease the creation is in development. Stay tuned!
{ShinyItemAnalysis} version 1.3.7 was released! π
